After installing your smart blinds switch, you need to calibrate it so you can open and close your blinds through your mobile phone or with voice commands via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. You need to calibrate your smart switches because they have an amazing function: You can ask your switch to open or close by percentage!
To perform the calibration you need a few things first: electric blinds, a smart blinds switch Smartify already installed, the Smartlife or Tuya app, and the blinds paired in the same (find out how here) and, lastly, to know how many seconds your blinds take to fully open and leave them halfway to start the calibration.
After ensuring you have everything set up, you have two ways to calibrate them. You can do it in quick mode or precise mode:
In quick mode:
1. Go to the switch page in the app and set the blinds to halfway;
2. click on settings and then on quick calibration;
3. raise your blinds, clicking pause when the switch reaches the limit;
4. Click next and then enter how many seconds the blind takes to fully open.
5. Wait a few seconds for it to complete the calibration and you're done!
In precise mode:
1. Go to the switch page in the app and set the blind to halfway;
2. Click on configuração (settings) and then on calibração precisa (accurate calibration);
3. Raise your blinds by clicking pause on the switch when it reaches the upper limit;
4. Proceed to the next step and fully lower the blinds, clicking pause on the switch when it reaches the lower limit;
5. Click on next step and wait a few seconds for it to calibrate and you're done!
