How to Benefit from the Tax Free Regime?
Tax Free Goods
Refunds are paid on items exported in the traveler's personal luggage. Refundable items must be unused.
Make sure that the total value of your purchases reaches the minimum required by law for a refund (61,50€).
Information
Make sure that all mandatory fields are filled in correctly when requesting your Tax Free Form, otherwise it will be refused.
Form Validation
If Portugal is your last destination before leaving Europe, validate your form when leaving the country at Customs or a self-validation kiosk. This validation has a 3-month time limit after the date of issue.
To receive your refund you must go to any Global Blue refund office in Portugal, you must provide the Personal data and passport, Tax Free form completed and validated by Customs.
