How to create automation for your smart home (iot smart home) Smartlife / Tuya?

The first question to check and decide for making an automation is what application it will be made in.
For this explanation, we will use as an example the devices of the brand Smartify that use the Smartlife / Tuya applications.

If you want to create automation between devices that use different applications for smart home IoT devices, it is best to use an aggregator, for example, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, or HomeAssistant.

In this example, we will choose smart color bulbs.

1. First, check if all the bulbs are installed and working with the Smartlife / Tuya application.
2. In the scenes menu in the application, create a new scene by pressing the “+”.
3. If it is only to trigger the smart bulbs with the application, choose the first option “tap to launch”, otherwise, for example, to associate it with a smart wifi switch or smart motion sensor, choose the last option, “when the state of a device changes” and then select the IoT (internet of things) device in question.
4. In the “then” section, we must add all the bulbs we want to control with this automation.

You must repeat the above process twice, once to turn on and once to turn off.
