Just replace the original radiator control knob with this smart controller and you can control and program the radiator from anywhere.
Programming and remote control:
Once set up in the Nedis SmartLife app (via a Nedis ZigBee gateway: WIFIZBxxx), you can set schedules for the radiator to heat a room at desired times. Create a weekly or daily schedule, or simply use your mobile phone to adjust the temperature wherever you are.
Voice control:
Together with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, you can change the desired room temperature just with your voice. It is also possible to create scenes in the Nedis SmartLife app and activate them with a simple touch or a single voice command through Siri, Google Assistant or Alexa.
Physical control:
In addition to all these smart options, you can also adjust the temperature directly on the LED screen — just turn to change the desired temperature or press to select preset levels. You can also activate a child lock to prevent unwanted changes in temperature.
Sensors:
Depending on the temperature variations in the room, the smart controller can be configured to detect if a door or window has been left open for an extended period of time. In that case, the radiator automatically turns off. It also detects when there is no hot water available (for example, if the central heating is off) and adjusts its operation accordingly.
You can control multiple radiators simultaneously, ensuring that no space is forgotten. By combining this product with other Nedis SmartLife devices (like Zigbee door/window sensors or climate sensors), it is possible to create even more precise and efficient heating systems.
Installation:
The Nedis ZigBee Gateway (WIFIZBxxx) is required to set up this product in the Nedis SmartLife app. (Android / iOS).
No technical or electrical knowledge is required for installation. You will only need a screwdriver to remove the radiator button and 2 AA batteries to power the smart controller. Make sure there is hot water available, as the radiator will only operate correctly if the central heating system is on.
