The Sonoff BASIC-ZB1GSP is a smart DIN rail switch with Zigbee protocol, designed for centralized management of circuits in the electrical panel. It supports loads up to 32A with bipolar cut-off and real-time energy monitoring, compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Home and eWeLink via Zigbee gateway.

Usage Example

1. Water heater or storage water heater control

Install the BASIC-ZB1GSP in the electrical panel after the circuit breaker for the water heater circuit. Through the eWeLink app, turn the water heater on only during the necessary times (e.g. morning and evening) and monitor the actual consumption in kWh. The overload protection provides additional safety.

2. Kitchen circuit management

Control the dedicated kitchen circuit (oven, hob) remotely. Ideal for checking whether you left any equipment on and switching it off from a distance. Consumption data helps identify usage peaks and optimize the energy bill.

3. EV charging circuit

Install the BASIC-ZB1GSP on the electric vehicle charger circuit. Schedule charging times to take advantage of off-peak tariffs and track monthly energy consumption. The bipolar cut-off ensures complete isolation when not in use.
