How to install the Smartify WiFi roller shutter switch:
Before starting the installation of the Smartify smart roller shutter switch, it is important to check if the switch box has a neutral wire. Otherwise, it will be necessary to pull one from the junction box.
1. Open the glass panel of the switch with the help of a screwdriver.
2. Connect the wire under tension (live wire) to terminal L.
3. Connect the neutral wire (neutral) to terminal N.
4. Connect the opening and closing motor wires to the up and down terminals, respectively.
5. Tighten the screw on the wall bracket.
6. Close the glass panel again.
Download and installation of the Smart Life or Tuya application:
1. Install the Smart Life or Tuya application, both compatible with iOS and Android.
2. Log into your account or create a new one, if necessary.
3. Fill in what is requested and click on “Next” to receive a verification message on your mobile phone. You can now set your password.
4. Click on “Confirm” to finish your registration.
Configure the Smartify smart switch:
There are two modes to configure: “Slow Flash” and “Quick Flash”.
1. The first time you pair it, your switch automatically enters “Quick flash” mode, flashing rapidly 2 times per second.
2. To connect the switch via “Quick Flash”, click any random button on the switch for 5 seconds until the WiFi indicator light starts flashing.
3. Connect your mobile phone to the local WiFi.
4. Activate the Bluetooth on your mobile phone.
5. In the application click on the “+” icon to add a new device, and all devices that are in “standby” will appear automatically.
