After installing your smart blind switch, you need to calibrate it so that you can open and close your blinds via your mobile phone or with voice commands via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant . You need to calibrate your smart switches because they have a brutal function: You can ask your switch to open or close by percentage!
To do the calibration you need a few things first: some electric blinds, an already installed Smartify smart blind switch, the Smartlife or Tuya application and the blinds paired with it (find out how here) and, lastly, to know how many seconds your blinds take time to fully open and leave them half way to start the calibration.
Once you're sure you've got this all done, you have two ways to calibrate them. You can do it in quick mode or precise mode:
In fast mode:
1. Enter the switch page in the application and put the blinds in the middle;
2. click on configuration (settings) and then on quick calibration (quick calibration);
3. Raise your blinds, clicking pause when the switch reaches the limit;
4. Click on next (next) and then enter how many seconds it takes for the blind to fully open.
5. Wait a few seconds for it to calibrate and that's it!
In precise mode:
1. Enter the switch page in the application and put the blind in the middle;
2. click on configuration (settings) and then on accurate calibration;
3. Raise your blinds, clicking pause on the switch when you reach the upper limit;
4. Proceed to the next step (next step) and fully lower the blinds, clicking pause on the switch when reaching the lower limit;
5. Click next step (next step) and wait a few seconds for it to calibrate and that's it!
