Do you have two or more switches for the same light and want to exchange them for smart switches? It's very simple, you can do it in just 7 steps!
Before starting, you have to find out which of the switches connects to the point of light.
1. In place of that switch, install the Smartify switch according to the instructions , ignoring the switching cables present. If the installation is done with a capacitor or with a neutral, the approaches are different:
- With capacitor: On the second switch and on the others if applicable, a neutral cable must be pulled up to the switch box. Then connect one end of the capacitor to neutral, and the other to one of the returns. Finally, you can turn on the phase normally.
- With neutral (recommended): In the second switch and in the others if applicable, connect only the phase and the neutral.
2. Then pair both smart switches on SmartLife or Tuya app.
3. Choose one of the switches to switch from the list of devices.
4. Go to the "edit" menu in the top right corner.
5. Choose the option "association by multiple control".
6. Choose the devices between which you want the switching to take place and click on the activate symbol.
7. Finally, you can save your settings.
