Do you have two or more switches for the same light and want to replace them with smart switches? It's very simple, you can do it in just 7 steps!
Before starting, you need to find out which of the switches connects to the light point.
1. At the location of that switch, install the Smartify switch according to the instructions, disregarding the existing two-way switching cables. If the installation is done with a capacitor or with neutral, the approaches are different:
- With capacitor: In the second switch and the remaining ones if applicable, a neutral wire must be pulled to the switch box. Then you connect one end of the capacitor to the neutral, and the other to one of the switched live (load wire)s. Finally, you can connect the live wire normally.
- With neutral (recommended): In the second switch and the remaining ones if applicable, connect only the live wire and the neutral.
2. Next, pair both smart switches in the SmartLife or Tuya app.
3. Choose one of the switches for the two-way switching from the device list.
4. Go to the "edit" menu in the top right corner.
5. Choose the "multi-control association" option.
6. Choose the devices between which we want the two-way switching to be made and click on the enable symbol.
7. Finally, you can save your settings.
