To install a Nuki smart lock, you need to have a lock with a European cylinder. If yours is not, we recommend using an anti-panic cylinder, a product compatible with the Nuki smart lock.
2. To control my Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 remotely over the internet, do I need a Bridge?
Yes, to control it remotely you need the Nuki Bridge. If you don't have it, you can only control the smart lock Nuki 3.0 by Bluetooth. The Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 Pro already comes with built-in wifi, meaning with this model, you can control your smart lock remotely without the need for a Bridge.
3. With the Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 Pro, can I know if the door is open or closed?
No, to know the current state of your door, you need a door/window sensor Nuki.
4. Does the Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 Pro already include the Nuki Power Pack ?
Yes. This battery can last between 2 months to 2 years depending on usage. It sends you a notification when it reaches 20% battery and charges in approximately 1 hour.
5. To remotely control my Nuki accessories, do I need a Bridge?
It depends. You need a Nuki Bridge to use your remotely Nuki Keypad, Nuki Keypad 2.0, and Nuki open/close sensor if you have the Nuki Smart Lock 3.0. If you have a Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 Pro, to control these devices remotely via wifi , you do not need to purchase the Nuki Bridge.
If you do not have the Bridge and your smart lock is a Nuki Smart Lock 3.0, you can still control any of these devices via Bluetooth.
If you have a Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 Pro, you can control it remotely via the internet, without the Bridge.
The only device that always requires a bridge for remote control is the Nuki Opener .
6. What is the purpose of the Nuki Opener?
The Nuki Opener allows you to control your intercom smartly to open the door of your building through your smartphone. You need to have the Nuki Bridge to use the Nuki Opener.
